After High School I went to College for 3 years graduating with a couple different degrees then was hired by the Lebanon Fire Department and have been there for 21 years now. I have about 5 years left til I retire and then plan to move on to a warmer climate, somewhere where I can  play Golf for most of the year instead of only a few months out of the year!

Well I have finally made it to Retirement, can't wait to play more Golf and get into more of a daily work-out routine, not to mention putting in my Pool and Spa at my Vacation Home in Sunny Arizona ! Like everyone else I can't believe it's been 30 years!  I've been married to my wonderful husband, John, for 29 years (will be 30 in October)!  We have 3 beautiful girls ages 26, 24 and 19.   Our oldest, Jana, is married and has made us the proud grandparents of Roderick (3) and Makinley Kay (8 months).  Our middle daughter, Katie, is an ER nurse at Lebanon Hospital and our youngest, Jonnie, is currently attending Corban College in Salem.

We still live in Lebanon and I've worked for the Lebanon School District for the last 17 years.  Currently I am a secretary at Riverview School  (for  all of you who haven't been in Lebanon lately, Riverview is one of the new school in town).

Since High school l had moved to Colorado for 7 years and have been back in Oregon since 1988. l have 2 boys both grown. My son, Wade, in the Marines will be home from Iraq on May 9th. After high school I joined the Navy and was in the Navy from 79 - 83.  During that time I developed deep convictions about God and His word and became a Christian.  I moved to Boston with the thought of training for the ministry, but didn't quite work out and instead I got a degree in Elementary Education.  Married and had our first child Lauren in Boston.  Upon graduation we moved to Georgia where I taught for 4 years.  My wife and I had another child - Carrie Joy - and decided to move home close to grandparents so they would get to know them.  Had a difficult time getting a teaching job in Oregon so I ended up working in real estate (1996).  My wife and I adopted 2 children from the state in 2002 - same mother different fathers, both were in jail.  I've done a lot of thinks in my life, Owned a small real estate brokerage, owned a motorcyle rental shop (Got to meet Steven Tyler there), technology teacher for K-5, and finally now I sell cars at CarMax.  I have also been a church elder for the Portland Church of Christ for 14 years.  Life is busy and I feel very fortunate and blessed to be still alive and kick'n!

I entered the Navy in 1979 after graduation a nd served for four years. After being honorably discharged, I moved to Boston to go into the ministry and ended up getting a bachelor's in elementary education teaching instead. I Met my wife Marcia, in 1986, married in 1988 and celebrated our 36th anniversary this year. She still is the apple of my eye! We have two wonderful daughters (Lauren 33 and Carrie Joy - 31) and two sons - adopted- (Rob 29 and Dylan 27). No grandchildren yet, but we do have a grand dog.
I've been the proverbial "Jack of all trades, but expert of none" Except for car sales and preaching, i do okay with that. I genuinely like people and that has taken me in many different directions to include; teaching, real estate (my own brokerage for awhile) and owning a motorcycle rental business for five years. Currently I'm a sales manager at the CarMax in Beaverton, OR.
I enjoy movies, karaoke, and tools that make loud noises, and destroy paper. ;) I also enjoy connecting with people and look forward to connecting and re-connecting with everybody this August.

Finally found and joined onto this, very nice! I am looking forward to the 45 year reunion and hope to see a lot of past and current friends. I am retired but still "working" a lot to keep my brain and body healthy. Part of that includes helping my shirt-trail relatives (Merzenichs) on their private timberland south of Brownsville. You can see me there at a HUGE spirit tree that is over 400 years old and so good that the indigenous locals like to visit it. While my parents have passed (were still living in the house I grew up in) I do occasionally get down to Lebanon as it was a very good place for me to grow up (from birth through LUHS). Luckily there are some good people to visit and tour around with.

wow 30 years cant belive its been so long. looking at all the pic's  brings back a lot of memmories. I live in mulino or. if any one knows where that is, just south of portlandwell I still work on cars, i have a shop in portland. and  been in buissness for 15 years now and still love it. we do collision work, resorations, we do all the repairs on the portland street car,  we also do a lot of nike prodjects which keeps everything exiting.I have been doing a lot of boating on the coulumbia river and just enjoying life. I am realy looking forward to seeing every one again

Wow.....to browse through and see the "then" and "now" pics certainly helped me to recognize folks. And, I had not heard of Katie Mangan passing until tonight opening up this site. So sorry to hear that. I remember her laugh even to this day, just as I remember Rick Miller's....some things you just never forget. Just another reminder to me of how each day should be appreciated and lived to the fullest. 

I've been living in rainforest country in Southeast Alaska for 25 plus years (the equivilent of living in a sponge, pretty much). I was married 17 years to my kids' dad and we had a very busy/active life involving boat chartering and living in the search and rescue arena. My kids are almost all grown now, and I'm suffering a severe case of empty nest syndrome...wishing either I could do it all over again or just have some more! But that ain't happening...nope! I'm focused now on surviving my last teenager at home and focusing more and more on my own interests. I'm what my sister calls "very outdoorsy" and I s'pose I am...hiking big mtns, boating in big water and fishing for big fish! And folks in my little island town are pretty used to seeing me ride my bike...rain or shine. I've learned not to let the rain get in the way of getting outside....otherwise we'd never get out cuz we get so much.. about 70-80 inches a year(a lot of that is snow). The long and short of it....I feel blessed and happy most all the time and I'm grateful to be who and where I am....most of the time, ya know?

I have 2 daughters ages 22 and 28 and 6 grandkids their ages range from 11 years old to 6 months old. After high school Glen Sandell and I were married for 12 year before divorcing. Then I moved to Nevada and got remarried lived there for 6 six years and we  then moved to Modesto, CA. I left him and the HORRID marriage in March of 2000, he passed away in june of 2000 (six feet under is a good place for him)  David Burkholder and I meet again and were married March 27,2001. I never thought I would get married again let alone fall in love. But, I have to say thank you David for loving me so completely. We love to go fishing in our canoe at Foster, Green Peter and Clear Lake. We both love to cook as you all will see when we see you in August. Can't wait to drag David kicking and screaming.

I don't know about the rest of you but I'm still 28 even though my wife reminds me quite often that I'm not that young anymore. I've lived in Lebanon my whole life with the exception of 3yrs in the Army, I either love it here or am too stupid to know the difference. I was a bacholer until 2001, when I married Teresa  Pedersen after meeting here again when she moved back from California. I have no kids of my own but have been adopted by Teresa's 2 daughters and 6 grandkids. I,m happy,healthy and about 30 pounds overweight. I love to cook(refer to the last statement), hike, garden, go canoeing and fishing or just being with the wife and our dog and cats. Teresa says she is going to drag me to the reunion, so I will see everyone there.

After High School I met my wife of 26 years.  I started off as a greens keeper at Spring Hill Country Club in Albany Or.  Think of the movie Caddy Shack with Bill Murray.....that would be me.  Cool job....no benefits; so, I moved on to the City of Albany where I worked in different departments and now I am an urban forester.In 1997 I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ, my friend, savior, and king.  That decision changed my life more than I could ever dream.  The Lord led me to serve on a missionary medical team in Haiti for 2 weeks last year and I will be returning again this year.  The experience was more rewarding than I can say.I have two beautiful daughters.  My oldest is a junior in college and my youngest is a junior in high school.  I survived through the two of them getting drivers licenses.  That experience gave me the gray hair.When I am not planting trees, scrubbing wounds, or teaching someone to drive you can find me yelling at an OSU football game.  Go BEAVS!!! Can't wait to see you guys.  A big thank you to everyone who is making this happen.

I am so excited to see everyone after all these years.  I moved away to Portland my senior year and then on to LA for a few years.  I got my wild oats out in Lebanon and became a committed Christian after leaving. Joined the Air Force and got to explore different countries.  Married my hubby 23 years ago and we stayed in NY for 20 years. I finally convinced him to move to  NC for warmer weather 2 years ago. After living in NYC for eight years I moved back to Oregon in 2002 to go to graduate school and be closer to my family. (Yes, I was in NYC on 9/11, the most surreal day of my life.) In 2005 I finished an M.A. at the U of O. Presently, I am finishing up requirements for an Oregon Teachers Certification and teaching Language Arts at Cascade High School in Turner, OR.
